The MaV (Matricole a Vita) group writes:

The death of Roberto Bottazzi is a loss that saddens us.

He was a culturally rich person full of humanity, who enjoyed dialogue and mediation. Roberto had an innate talent for putting people at ease.

He knew how to listen with genuine interest and never failed to put irony, vivacity, curiosity, and anecdotes into what he said. With his smile he knew how to welcome, to create atmospheres.

Dear Roberto, we remember you fondly for the commitment you put in and the help you gave to expand the Faculty teachings needed by our churches. We are grateful to you for your example of a believer living his faith.

We thank you for the valuable work you did as a tutor in accompanying students, whether freshmen or undergraduates, through the meanders of the Faculty: between study plans and bibliographic research, you were always available and attentive to everyone.

We will not forget the anecdotes about examinations that you loved to recount a thousand times over, each time wringing a smile from your heart.

Bye Roberto.
