Il prof. Antonio Loprieno (Bari 1955), ha insegnato egittologia in varie università, tra cui quelle di Göttingen, Perugia, Los Angeles CA, e poi Basilea.
Dell’Università di Basilea è stato anche rettore. Dal 2008 al 2015 è stato presidente della Conferenza dei Rettori delle Università Svizzere.
E’ presidente della chiesa evangelica di lingua italiana di Basilea.

The Trace of Israel in Hellenistic Egypt
Prof. Antonio Loprieno - University of Basel
Prof. Antonio Loprieno (Bari 1955),
has taught Egyptology at various universities, including those of Göttingen, Perugia, Los Angeles CA, and then Basel.
He was also rector of the University of Basel. From 2008 to 2015 he was
president of the Conference of Rectors of Swiss Universities.
He is president of the Italian-speaking Evangelical Church of Basel.
The course will be offered in presence and/or online (ZOOM)
