INTENSIVE SESSION OF LSBT STUDIES (Rome)

INTENSIVE SESSION OF LSBT STUDIES (Rome)

24/08/2023

INTENSIVE SESSION OF LSBT STUDIES (Rome)

 6- 7 October 2023

God in history

The Jewish-Christian traditions speak of a revelation of God

in history, in that of Israel and in that of Jesus of Nazareth:

This is recounted in the Old and New Testaments.

Research in recent centuries, however, has amply shown

that between what we can know historically and what is

narrated in the canonical texts there are differences and tensions.

It still makes sense

today, to speak of a revelation in history?
