The Faculty Council, in compliance with the Faculty Regulations, art. 36, in agreement with the Waldensian Table, proclaims the vacancy of the Chair of Practical Theology as from the academic year 2022/23 and announces a competition for a post of

 

Extraordinary* Professor of Practical Theology

 

Assignment: Teaching of subjects related to practical theology.

The assignment is full-time; teaching must be given in Italian.

Main tasks: Planning and carrying out teaching and research activities in the disciplinary field covered by the chair.

Activities that represent the discipline of Practical Theology in academic and ecclesiastical field, at national and international level.

It is also required the willingness to assume the administrative and management tasks indicated by the Faculty bodies.

Required title: Master's Degree in Theology

The Ph.D. is considered a preferential title.

Language skills: Spoken and written knowledge of English and at least one other language.          

                                                foreign language; knowledge of German is one of them.

Economic conditions: Pastoral treatment according to the Waldensian Table regulations.

Start of activity: October 2022

Required documentation: curriculum vitae, including indication of the academic qualifications obtained and the languages known, with certified photocopy of the highest diploma obtained.

* "Professors ... extraordinary ... are appointed by the Synod on the proposal of the Pastoral Corps in accordance with the General Discipline and the Synodal Regulations". (R/FVT, art. 35).

"The Council receives the candidates and transmits them to the pastoral body together with an evaluation of the candidates' titles, publications and curriculum". (R/FVT, Art. 36 d)

"Extraordinary professors become ordinary if confirmed by the Synod after three years of teaching." (R/FVT, art. 35).
