New Professor of Old Testament at the Waldensian Faculty of Theology

The Synod of the Methodist and Waldensian Churches has elected Waldensian Pastor Marco Fornerone as Extraordinary Professor of Old Testament.

Born in 1985, Marco Fornerone studied theology at the Valdese Faculty, then in Yaoundé, Cameroon. He was ordained to pastoral ministry in 2013 and served in churches in Udine and Gorizia and then Rome, Piazza Cavour.  He recently spent a period of study in Paris. He is working on a doctoral dissertation directed by Prof. Thomas Römer of the University of Lausanne and the Collège de France.

Marco Fornerone will begin his service to the faculty in Academic Year 2025/2026.
